Big J 283
On a black VR though J???Yes definitely on a black VR! What other colour would bronze be any better with with? I think black and dragon green are the 2 colours for bronze wheels, maybe red too. VR6CABBS and Bealieboy

Bealieboy 1,625
Yeah big j, they look the nuts! I look forward to seeing these fitted too. What tyres are you going for? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Big J 283
205/40 mate. They're not as perfect as they look, bit of a bodge job on the orange really but who knows. I might split them and go tornado red powder coat in the centres eventually. They wouldn't make ultimate dubs the way they are let's put it that way.
VR6CABBS 1,311
Nice mate. I like them J. Nearly bought some of these with grey centres.

Is it because they're not perfect or is it because they're rough? The tyres shouldn't cost too much if they're 205/40's. What make will you get? Big J 283
They're not rough as such, there's no curbing marks or anything so a fine wet and dry paper and some elbow grease should fetch the rims up a treat. The centres look like they've been dipped, and then sprayed orange over the top by a 15 year old.I might buy some ultra fine paper and wet sand them, polish and see what they come out like. Not too sure on which tyres yet, not really bothered as long as they're not plastic shite. Surreyvr6 199
There's a website, think it's something like www.tyrestretch.com if not have a search on Google. It has a lot of pics of different diameter and width wheels with various tyres stretched on them sent in by people. I found this very helpfulSent from your mums iPhone using Tapatalk Bealieboy and VR6CABBS
daveyboy 897
I love them RH J I'm after a set when I get some cash put to one side
Big J 283
Not too sure on the condition of the centres now so I'm thinking of splitting them and going tornado red with gold bolts. Rekon it might go well with the candy white. Bealieboy
daveyboy 897
Yeah orange is horrible but I love the style of the wheel

Bealieboy 1,625
At least you'll have a finish you'll be content with. I expect they'll be easier on the eye too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Big J
Big J 283
Yeah I think red centers is the way to go. I'll split them in the front room when she's not looking and get some prices Bealieboy
Bealieboy 1,625
Powder coat or painted? Put a close up pic on as they stand j, I'd like to see one a bit closer please. I don't know if it's the way I'm looking at the pic but it looks like there's some kind of pattern? Big J 283
Yeah they hydro dipped, I've got one in the car I'll go get it as soon as my pizzas out the oven lol. I'd go powder all day. There's a company local to me that specialize in powder coat so I'll see what they say. Edited January 6, 2015 by Big J Bealieboy
Bealieboy 1,625
Mmm, that's what I thought I could see, good, glad my eyes aren't playing up! They're certainly different but I think you'd be doing the right thing toning em down. I know powder coat lasts well, I dont know how broad the colour palette is on that process?
