induction kits reccomendations

For a good value induction kit and sound I would go for a Ram-Air or K&N mate.

BMC CDA. Great sound but not too loud. Gives you lots of extra wallop (sepecially on the motorway) when you fit the cold air feed. Not the cheapest option (~

ram air all the way with a heat shield and the cold air feed vented thru the redundant hole left by removing the carbon cannister! looks the nads, cheaper than the bmc and just as power hungry!

Sorry to thread jack, but

The carbon cannister - is that located below where the induction kit would be in between inner and outer wing (if you see waht i mean)

What does it do and is it needed etc? Would like to put a pipe in there to my induction kit from my lower bonrath grille.

Thats the one - easy to remove & I've got exactly the set up your going for - theres still part of the air con in the way at the top of the Bonrath vent but you can make the feed fit - I noticed the difference straight away :0) See here for removal tips: http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?60632.post
