B4VR6 193
Do a 1000 mile in this now. All smiles Got my vr6oc sticker the last week and need to get it out on once this rain has stopped so I can was the car. And think of a suitable place.
B4VR6 193
Hopefully I'm going to be able to level the front end up. (I took the coilovers off my old b4 TD and the vr must be a lot heavier as it look wonky looking at the front) All ready for getting the tracking done tomorrow.
B4VR6 193
Been looking into the interior. I'm not a fan of leather but since it's a gen vr I'm going to be putting it in but won't be till next year and will be special. Seen some blue leather fronts seats out of another car and will just retrim the rears.
B4VR6 193
I like easy fixes. Got my passenger fog light working. And also while I was at it I changed the passenger headlight as it wasn't projecting the light. Also changed my gear gaiter for a leather one which is tidier. For now then refurb them for next year. But for the price I paid can't grimble at all. I've seen ones in worse States go for mor on eBay. Bealieboy and daveyboy

Mk3highline 287
I like the wheels I do want some but don't want 16s until I have lot more power lol
B4VR6 193
I'm not struck on them now that they are on. I don't think they work. Too modern a wheel for the car. I like the rims just not keen on this car. But they'll do for winter rims.
B4VR6 193
Got some 15mm hubcentric spacers coming now for the rears. Hopefully that will help turning in on corners.
Bealieboy 1,625
I don't think they look too bad!

B4VR6 193
Yeah had my alignment done supposably. But didn't get a print out.

B4VR6 193
Ordered some narrower tyres for the fronts so they shouldn't catch then once they are fitted.
B4VR6 193
Got some 15mm spacers on route. And just ordered some purple haze wax. And two 165/45/16 tyres since the 195/45 catch like hell. bennyk
Mk3highline 287
Won't you get traction issues with the 165 tyres?Where is it catching btw?

B4VR6 193
Put two of the r protectors on the front two which will become the rears when I get the new narrower tyres fitted next sat then I'll fit the other two. I'm trying to get some orange paint for the callipers to get them to match which the rims won't look out of place then. Also still waiting on the spacers and I've also got some tailored mats coming too. Not to everyone's taste but they do the job well and easy to fit. Bealieboy
B4VR6 193
Won't you get traction issues with the 165 tyres?Where is it catching btw?Catching on the arches. Probably get traction issues but I don't really drive it that hard. I didn't take into account the wider track on the front of the Vr so the ET of the rim pushed it out. I will be getting the arches rolled at some point, probably when I get it painted. So then I'll fit the 195 back on.
