pappers 50
Got the downpipe for 12 and 24v from my 2 donors. Not wanting lightened flywheel, using standard. Stealth are doing my ECU work yes. Already primed. Loom guy busy till Sept.
pappers 50
My 24v dp has the lambdas in with wiring and plugs.
daveyboy 897
Will I need all 4 lambdas when I do my swap? I'm using the 12v engine loom and ecu as mk3highline has. I was just gonna cut the 24v down pipe and mate it to the 12v down pipe
pappers 50
Id give stealth a ring. I'm using mk4 management so might as well use the 4 as theyre there anyway, not really about needing them. I guess it would map better as has more info from lambdas...? Partial guess there. VR6Pete

Id rather be on the stiffer end of half way between but not competition. Any recommendations/warnings?

pappers 50
Smells like Airfix again! Painted starter, carriers and engine mounts yesterday. Starter and mounts are rattle canned. Built up new 12v thermostat assembly.De-loomed engine, deleted ac pump and fitted new belt, removed intake for looky looky. c00k

pappers 50
Hi Daveyboy. Honestly not got much done. Looms away now being done. Bit of a wait but will be done properly. When the weathers a bit warmer I can get back to the Moto commute and take the golf off the road. Everything parts wise in the garage, just the usual busy busy. I'm going to say by end of March it'll be under way. 👷 daveyboy and VR6Pete
pappers 50
Its begun...finally. The rear beam bushes completely went on friday so theres the excuse to take it off the road. Started on Sunday morning and have the monster of a 1.8 engine and box ready to pull out except releasing the cable clutch...which i might just cut to save the headache of wasted life spent in a mk3 pedal box. Anyway happy to have started.
pappers 50
Looms came back last week from rubjonny on clubgti. Really nice tidy work he's done on the mk3/4 loom. 24v is ready to go in.
