Mk3highline 287 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Share Posted March 25, 2015 Well after some runs in 4th and 5th up to 6-7k I'm getting smell of the exhaust in the cabin only after like 5k rpmNormal driving I get nothing don't sound like the exhaust is blowing etcYou guys think the down pipe-cat could cause this or the scorpion exhaust that is only 2:1/4 inch??Down pipe was made from same diameter as the 12v and it seemed same size as the 24v ??What your thoughts Link to post Share on other sites

Bealieboy 1,625 Posted March 25, 2015 Report Share Posted March 25, 2015 I missed something in the original post highline. A very simple and cost effective fix would be to keep lower than 5k rpm! Hey presto, no more exhaust fumes in cabin and more mpg! I get fumes when stationary but I thought it was due to the pcv, or an oil leak from the rocker cooking off. I'll have to tune my nose to suss wether exhaust or oil from mine! Link to post Share on other sites
