(Engine type AAA / 1992) If i connect the battery for the first time, the engine run immediately, but after the first start, when i want to start again, I have to operate the starter for 3 to 5 seconds before the engine starts i bougth a scanner U281, and after analysis, "no error" or "linking error", i tried to use VAG-COM but i can't to read in the ECU... i tested the ignition during the starter activation, and it's ok... RemsVR6 5 Posted April 25, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 25, 2015 I thought to the ignition barrel, because, if i move a little bit, the power turn off... i will replace these 2 parts, and see the results. it is possible to change the diagnostic connection to connect it directly to the ECU ? Or ask someone with a Vagcom set up near you to see if your port will work or not. May have been software you were using as i know few do not read or connect up.Think your heading the right way with the ign barrel. Link to post Share on other sites
