Mk3highline 287
What options do I have for injectors for the aue? What is the flow rates for the standard injectors?Or do I just leave them and get the r32 head?I Will have the rotrex giving around 5-7psi so less than 300bhpI also will be upgrading the fuel pump and rs4 maf beforehand Stealth have said to watch out as some injectors don't work very well with the early 24v The blower is rated up to between 600-720 hp depending where you lookWill the ID 725 be ok?Thank you
Swivelonit 119
I am running an AUE with a turbo at 5-7 psi, all I have done is increase fuel pressure via a regulator and had it mapped, pump and injectors are stock, 285 bhp and no problems. http://www.vr6oc.com/forum/topic/41399-swivelonits-mk-4-vr6t-4-motion/ Edited May 25, 2015 by Swivelonit
Mk3highline 287
Would you happen to know what kind of duty cycle the injectors are running at the moment?I'd like to get the feeling ready for about 600hp just in case and to be on the safe side and future proof etc
Swivelonit 119
No idea of duty cycles but I do know when I make the next change to rods and pistons and a GT35r turbo I will be changing the injectors to Asnu 500 or 550 injectors, I have to ask my mapper as he tells me what to buy.. I am looking to run 450 ish bhp.
Mk3highline 287
Cool but stealth have told me that some injectors don't work too well with the 2.8 24v something to do with the tips and spray pattern as the rail going across the inlet ports affect it????I'm only starting with low boost from the rotrex until the chassis suspension gearbox is done
Mk3highline 287
Thank you had a nosey and Asnu it is thenYou got a price for them?
Swivelonit 119
about £100 each, call them and tell then what you are doing and they will recommend what you need. My mate is running Asnu in a 2.0 8 valve MK 2 pushing 475bhp so I know they are good, they usually go for a smaller CC and achieve better atomisation compared to a higher CC injector making a more efficient bang! Mk3highline 287
Yup that's what it's all about efficiency! I still need to do a little more home work on the standard injectors spray pattern and asnu to replicate/ improve itWhich they can I will have a word with someone who deals with them as iirc his getting some as the q16 race fuel melted his other ones lol
