boab3 164
I recently got a flea bay blue kkl cable I downloaded vcds lite plugged in to my skoda superb and my mates vw sharan connects and works a treat reads codes from a lot of modules. So I connected up to my mk2 vr it won't connect to ecu.i have wired in a 16 pin obd port pin 4 ground. pin16 feed. pin7 data from pin 43 on ecu and never bothered with yellow wire I think L line as I've no abs etc.i connect car up ignition on start vcds and try an engine scan it just doesn't see the ecu. am I doing something wrong? My mk2vr is Obd1 distributor model.cheees

boab3 164
Anyone on here have an early vr6? Need to know what voltage you have on grey white wire from ecu to obd port I've wired in an obd2 port and between pin4 and pin7 I have battery voltage I'm sure I shouldn't have that much on a data line . cheers
