vr6overvtech 0
I am new to this forum. I have a mk3 golf gti vr6. Has about 200k miles on it but runs amazing. I love my car but right now the chains are making noise. I don't have the money to fix it right now but I need my car to drive to work. It's only about 5 minutes away so it's not like I drive it much but I just wanted to know what I have to be cautious about knowing that the timing chains are worn. Please reply with any info on worn timing chains

c00k 435
You can check the tension of chains with Vag-com or VCD's. But needs to be a full version, not demo version. rsweeney
