dubspy 19
Hi All, As i feel my gearbox is way to short for the engine i have been looking at other options. With the 4cyl engines i prefer a tdi box due to the longer ratios. But i know they don't work on a 6cyl. Is there a way to run a diesel box? or do you have to change internals? i would really like as long as gear ratios as possible. Will be around 450bhp.. I currently run a GT35 so by the time the turbo kicks in i feel not making the most of the gear. Al help would be appreciated.. Thank You

michael5556 247
There are a few threads on here regarding swapping. You can use the o2m and then swap the internals to diesel gears but they are very long lol
dubspy 19
After a lot of thought and research I have decided to keep the VR6 gear from 1-4 and went for a tdi 5th with a ratio of 0.717 i also ordered my quaife diff so waiting on it all to arrive than off to the re-builders.. hopefully i made the right choices, fingers crossed.
