mattvr6 133 Posted September 26, 2015 Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 As above when I turn right,load on nsf wheel makes a horrible grinding/grating noise and the traction light flickers the harder I drive, I've changed the wheel bearing with no joy, I'm a tech but I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it nothing obvious stands out any help please Link to post Share on other sites

Reaperx 181 Posted September 27, 2015 Report Share Posted September 27, 2015 Might sound a bit daft but its not the protection plate on the back of the brakes. Might be worth stopping the corner down and trying to trace the noise the amount of times I had customers complain about brake noise. Half the time it turned out to be the backing plate or a retaining clip loose and catching. Link to post Share on other sites

mattvr6 133 Posted November 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 15, 2015 So I'm pretty sure this noise is gearbox related as I've changed wheel bearing driveshaft brakes basically everything that rotates!
