jaysVR6 2
Ok, the decision is up to you. I have the funds to get ALL the rust done on my car.As you can see by the pics it isn't the best and I hate looking & it as it spoils my pride and joy. If I get it done it will cost
jezmoz 0
If you've got the brass then do it mate it'll make it look a lot nicer, you don't want blemishes on your vr , and when it comes to resale they wont be able to use that to get cash off. Go for it, just make sure it's someone who knows what they're doing.

vdubgirl 3
Crumbs Jay i thought I was looking at pics of my car then lol. My thought are get it done as if your anything like me you'll only spend the same amount of money on a different car So if you got the money go for it

purple highline monster 0
get it repaired, your lucky its only minor, have you seen the rust protection on the new golfs? or lack of it!! they dont even paint the underside floor pan or fill them with wax anymore! weight saving apparantly! for 24 k i want a bit of protection! although they dont say vw have done the minimum to get the car to its 6 year body warranty and thats it! hope that means i wont get a rusty mk5 when its ten years old
MrBen 0
I'd get it done now, as those blisters are bound to spread and you'll end up with a wreck of a Golf with tasty wheels and seats!
dubloke 4
i'd get it done as well tbh. its only minor repair work needed at this stage and if you leave it it will only progress and become more expensive to fix, and less disireable to buy should you want to sell it in the near future! do it, and keep an already great looking vr in good hands and on the road!
