Batler182 1
Hi guys,I've got a fault code come up on my Vr6 saying g62 coolant temp sensor open or short to plus. Any ideas what would cause this or is it obviously a broken wire somewhere?Cheers
Batler182 1
I've only got two coolant sensors, should I have three?
c00k 435
You only have 3 if you have air con.
VR6Pete 1,455
You only have 3 if you have air con.Not always the case. My Corrado has 3 sensors, but no air-con. My 3rd sensor (black 2 pin) is stage 3 fans.
michael5556 247
Thats only on rado's i think. should be a yellow and blue. blue is the important one as yellow is just for clocks.probably a broken wire or something
rsweeney 40
i need help with this aswell mine has just thrown up Fault code 00522 coolant temp sensor G62. Not sure if this is referring to the blue ECU sensor, yellow aux water pump & dash gauge sensor or the brown aircon sensor ( i still have the wiring connected to this sensor even though i have removed the aircon and it has never given me this code before ) Car runs well so wouldnt think it was the blue ECU coolant temp sensor
