korsou 9
Hello Gents, Hope all is great on your side. I need some help. My car has been parked for a while as I live abroad and I recently came back home and wanted to drive my car but had a bad surprise. My clutch seems to be sticking and stays on the floor. What could it be? My car is a 1997 Golf VR6 with a 5 speed. If I am not mistaken the clutch and mater cylinder is the same unit. Any and all help would be higly appreciated. Thanks and regards, Manuel VR6Pete and korsou
VR6Pete 1,455
I suspect that your slave cylinder may have failed - this sits on the side of the gear box and prone to failure, showing the symptoms you have now. Quite cheap to replace, if has been standing for a while I would suggest flushing your hydraulic fluid etc.... Keep us updated with progress Pete
