In the engine bay i found this connector not sure what it is suppose to be connected to any info would be very helpful. its a female connector two pin wires are red and brown, it is located at back right of the engine bay. VR6Pete 1,455 Posted January 24, 2016 Report Share Posted January 24, 2016 Yes, it does look like aux water pump plug. Probably has leaked in the past and removed / disconnected. You should see a pump around the area where the big engine plug is. You'll have remove engine plastics to plug it back if it's simply been disconnected. olivermorganclarke 1 Link to post Share on other sites

Vag-hag 147 Posted January 25, 2016 Report Share Posted January 25, 2016 Bosch-VR6-Auxillary-Water-Pump_-0-392-020-024. VW-251-965-561-BRoughly £50 on eBay.de buddy.
