tonygti 22 Posted January 30, 2016 Report Share Posted January 30, 2016 can anyone help me out as im desperatemy car recently was converted from a GTI 8V to a VR6the car runs fine but when i have the indicators on the car hunts and if i put the heated seat on the revs go upi cant see any plugs off in the fuse box and added extra earths under the engine bay but no differenceany help would be much appreciated VR6Pete 1 Link to post Share on other sites
VR6Pete 1,455 Posted January 31, 2016 Report Share Posted January 31, 2016 What alternator did you use? Sounds like voltage drop or alternator not producing enough juice. You can easily check. Simply attach volt meter to battery when running. Should be producing around 13.9volts. Check see if there is a drop when you put indicators / heated seats on and report back.
