hobbsy 0
Im gonna get a second hand cat as mine is split, are there any differences form different years that affect lambda sensor and fit or will one from any year be ok.
TVR6 0
Second hand on an item like that is always a bit suss, it may have been dropped or banged around and they're fragile enough as it is. A new one from the Stealers is astronomical although I beleive GSF do one for around

vr6freak 3
yes go to gsf and i think there are two different sizes. you'd probably need to get up on a ramp to find what size it is.and as tvr6 says second hand can be suss.
Charged vr6 0
yeh i agree with the others, better of getting one from gsf, but thats not the price i got qouted :| , they were sayin about 220 just the cat without the sensor , unless the person i spoke 2 didnt knw wht she was on about...so i went and got mine changed by powerflow (to a sports cat and sensor) for 270 all fitted. Reason being was going to end up paying 270 roughly for the cat and sensor from the GSF in heathrow..
hobbsy 0
185+VAt from GSf, or 40 quid from a breakers, i will take my chances on a second hand one as ive got 10 mmonths mot left and as long as it isnt blowing I dont mind if the internals are shagged. Does anyone know what year they changed, my car is OBD1.
