VR6Steve 0
VRooom - has the window ever been replaced? If so, it may not be quite sitting right, hence the wind noise. Try some spray grease in the window channel for the juddering.
madmonkee 0
mine comes down about 2" then stops, press the switch again it comes down another 2" and stops, also the same on the way up!???"!?"??!
VRmonster 1
have you tried holding the switch a few seconds longer. then it should go all the way. lol.
Bullwinkle668 0
I have the same problem as madmonkee. It never used to do it. I'm thinking (actually, I'm hoping) it may be a faulty switch - that's easy to replace.
madmonkee 0
na its not, i took the switch from the otherside to try it, still does it. Summit to do with the motor maybe? Hold the switch down all day and it will still only drop two inches at a time
VRmonster 1
sounds like your relay isnt holding in position, you should strip the card off the door and investigate. anyone know where the realy is for the windows? id expect on the door itself cos thets wher the clicking comes from. kilokilla 0
had that problem before with windows stopping also sunroof reacted wierd too have feeling its to do with the central locking pump i:e the total closure system cos it would open sunroof and close windows when i held key to autoclose .this seems to be common fault if its not the main box in boot im sure its gotta be relay oh and easy way to check if its overheating motor just run live and earth to motor and see if it still stops after 2 secs .although, im positive its not down to overheating !
