I have noticed a slight leak on the radiator where the temp sensor is (Think its the temp sensor) is there any common issues with it leaking from here and does it require a new rad or sensor? VR6Pete 1,455 Posted April 18, 2016 Report Share Posted April 18, 2016 Hi Lee, Could just be the seal, but worth replacing with a new sensor. http://www.vwspares.co.uk/g3cooling.php Looking around a tenner to replace, just see which plug you have 2 or 3 pin. Little value in removing to apply PTFE tape as you'll loose coolant and then possibly it may not work, but for the sake of a tenner might as well just get a new one for peace of mind.
