Corrado/Golf VR6

Any mechanically sound vr6s for sale? Preferably with decent exhaust, filter etc the usual. Max budget £1500 but would prefer to spend sub £1000. I'm in Dunfermline, Scotland but willing to travel as far as London for the right car. Not bothered about bad paintwork, dents etc, being mechanically spot on is the only important thing.

I have one in ayr but think it'll probably need droplinks etc but went through last year with no attention needed mechanical and I only use now and then.its a 3 door red vr6 new wings etc car still looks good for 20 years old. 97 r plate mot Sept only issue am sure of for mot is abs light but I no where the fault lies and it's an easy fix basicly the cables at strut.ill explain and answer questions if interested.
