J4Y VR 36
Hi, I have a MK3 Golf OBD2 1997- can I fit a Corrado 2.9 ABV with coil pack into my MK3? I know the engines will fit but I'm not sure what I need to do to get it running. Any advice will be greatly received. Thanks Jay
VR6Pete 1,455
Just bare engine will be fine, you'll need the AAA manifold and engine loom off the 2.8 lump. To be honest I wouldn't recommend it if your 2.8 is fine as often than not most Corrado engines are thrashed and bores shot. Whats the reason for wanting to swap out? J4Y VR 36
Thanks. I had built a Vrt engine and I'm having problems with it so I wanted to get my golf running again my friend had a spare 2.9 engine. VR6Pete
