V64motionjsy 0
I have had several issues recently with my car. Stick coils plugs and crank position sensor were replaced about 5 months ago but I still have running issues, took it to a friend who checked the fault codes first, cleared them then re checked to see what gremlins were still lurking under the hood. Turns out that there is a cam position sensor problem. Does this car have two like the vr6 motor or just one. The reason I ask is the parts supplier I used said that going by my chassis number it only had one but it looks very similar to the vr6 motor which has two. I have looked high and low for a free downloadable manual online but can't find any which cover this model. Edited December 18, 2016 by V64motionjsy More info added

Yes it is running rough, changed a cam sensor and seemed to improve a bit but still sounding like a diesel at idle, runs better at higher revs.
mattvr6 133
Sounds like timing chain if it's noisey, I'll post a pic of my car when I'm back home so u can compare, vvt solenoids make it run rough on idle, if u can get hold of Vag com u can check chain stretch in channels 108/109 anything more than -10 kw chains need replacing
