RubenatorVR62.8 0
I can't get my traction control light to shut off I hooked up my vag com cable and tried deleting it after I installed my new angle sensor due to me breaking my last one. But the code keeps coming back. PLEASE HELP!
Timothy_Ellis 23
Take out your yaw sensor. Leave battery unplugged for a while and reconnect. Yaw controls esp, you'll loose it (but who cares about crappy launch control anyway)

RubenatorVR62.8 0
Where is the yaw sensor located? That is true but before I installed the new one. My VR6 would start to apply my ABS breaks and my car will make really loud grinding noise. I can keep the Peddle down the the ground and it wouldn't want to move

Martin Evans 2
You need to calibrate the sensor for the light to go off, you can do it with your vagcom or I could do it with my snap-on solus. RubenatorVR62.8
RubenatorVR62.8 0
You need to calibrate the sensor for the light to go off, you can do it with your vagcom or I could do it with my snap-on solus. So I did calibrate the angle sensor and finally the light shut off. But now after I drive my car for a couple of min the light turns back on. Now from my understanding if the steering wheel is centered it should be showing that it's zeroed out? Well my steering shell is only zeroed out when it's slightly turned left.
Martin Evans 2
Need to get your tracking reset and then recalibrate the sensor again.

RubenatorVR62.8 0
Do I just disconnect the clock spring center it and connect it?
Martin Evans 2
No no you need to take it to a garage and get the wheel alignment done then calibrate the sensor Timothy_Ellis
Martin Evans 2
Did you drive it up the road first to centre the steering wheel before recalibration the sensor?
Timothy_Ellis 23
See how much this isn't worth it? Just take it out, you don't need it anyway.
Timothy_Ellis 23
But seriously, get an alignment. You'll lose some degrees in your turn radius if you mess with that.
Timothy_Ellis 23
Make sure they center the steering wheel first. I know some alignment shops do a crappy job at it.
mattvr6 133
It ain't got launch control for a start, why would u disconnect it? That's just a bodge, when u changed it did u save the coding and to input it again when replaced ? Check all this then get it tracked up and go from there
