Done 150 miles over the weekend and have had no problems whatsoever with brakes. Took the car into the local Dub dealer and it is booked in for next week.This first happened about a month ago as I was travelling to the hospital. I took it into the dealers the next day and had it hooked up to the VAG COM (no charge!!), but it was showing everything as fine. There was a lot of heavy rain and flooding at the time and the guy felt that driving through large puddles had possibly knocked the sensors.I'll be interested to see what they think next week!!! MrBen 0 Posted July 8, 2005 Report Share Posted July 8, 2005 VW Stealer? Are you mad!! Yes the brakes will work fine with the light on, but you will have no ABS so bear that in mind. Mine's the same at the mo, and I had an interesting moment on the damp A3 last night - it's been a while since I owned a car without ABS!! If the light has come on, I can't see how VAGCOM hasn't shown a fault code - they should be logged even if the light has gone off. Link to post Share on other sites
