For best drivability, the MAF needs to be moved as far away from the charger as possible (upstream) to avoid the turbulence at overrun/idle disturbing the MAF, and therefore stalling. You can do this by adding 18" of wire ribbed flexi hose and making sure the maf is horizontal and also straight, i.e. exactly as it would sit in the engine bay before it was charged. This works a treat, hasn't stalled on me yet.

I'd also recommend the MAF Clamp which VF supply in stage 2 kits if you're charger is over 6psi. It uses diodes to limit the voltage on boost to a range that the ECU can work with, otherwise the voltage goes off the scale the ECU panics.

You can lose the MAF if you use a DTA P8PRO as fuelling is done by throttle position and MAP sensors, but's expensive at
