think i may have discovered a new syndrome, it seems to be caused by too much cleaning and polishing.

it makes you very tired and irritable and your finger ends are often sore.

this is now to be known officially as bling sting .

there are various members of the club who i feel may be chronic cases and beyond a cure.

your experiences with this will be greatly appreciated in order to increase the knowledge database

well ive been at loads of alloy parts in the hope for blinding someone at e38, as my block is in 200 pieces i decided to polish whatever i fell over in my garage. so far i have polished,

intake manifold

rocker cover

belt tensioner & the bloody bolt (lol)

upper and lower chain covers

ISV

Dipstick tube

oil cooler cover

i also started to polish

oil cooler

oil filter housing

my engine mounts (dont ask why !!!)

gearbox mount and support bar

gearbox shift weight.

but i managed to overcome my bling sting with some good old reasoning and willpower. i decided that most of this stuff you can not see so i just polished it to a dull smooth finish, then coated them in the hammerite black i was to use on my engine block. now i have to go buy some more, and at
