pete8tch 0 Posted August 5, 2005 Report Share Posted August 5, 2005 think i may have discovered a new syndrome, it seems to be caused by too much cleaning and polishing.it makes you very tired and irritable and your finger ends are often sore. this is now to be known officially as bling sting .there are various members of the club who i feel may be chronic cases and beyond a cure.your experiences with this will be greatly appreciated in order to increase the knowledge databasepete Link to post Share on other sites

VRmonster 1 Posted August 5, 2005 Report Share Posted August 5, 2005 well ive been at loads of alloy parts in the hope for blinding someone at e38, as my block is in 200 pieces i decided to polish whatever i fell over in my garage. so far i have polished, intake manifoldrocker coverbelt tensioner & the bloody bolt (lol)upper and lower chain coversISVDipstick tubeoil cooler coveri also started to polishoil cooleroil filter housingmy engine mounts (dont ask why !!!)gearbox mount and support bargearbox shift weight.but i managed to overcome my bling sting with some good old reasoning and willpower. i decided that most of this stuff you can not see so i just polished it to a dull smooth finish, then coated them in the hammerite black i was to use on my engine block. now i have to go buy some more, and at Link to post Share on other sites
