anorak 0 Posted August 27, 2005 Report Share Posted August 27, 2005 15 secs sounds a bit optimistic for a stock VR.Most of the unmodified cars 1/4 mile times I've seen have been around or just under 16 seconds with the remap, exhaust and filter boys getting around 15.Think you'd need 200+bhp to do a 15 sec run without losing weight!I've got a Racelogic AC22 meter (cost a bit more than Link to post Share on other sites

Terrific time for a standard weight n/a VR.As I said, I reckon you'd need 200+bhp to crack 15 seconds and his sig says"around 200bhp and 190lbft".Think he's got one healthy motor under the bonnet.(He can obviously launch it pretty effectively too!)I've not seen any other near standard cars get close to that time. I reckon my vr is bout 7ish seconds to 60 in reality, although she is a healthy one - 45k on the clock. Mite have to come down the pod and find out the harsh reality!
