Tomo 0
Hi, I'm ordering some coilovers and i've got some oem vr6 steels which are 15" 6/1/2J 8) presumably the same as the original bbs's. with 205's When i drop it down i want the steelies to fill the arches better, so using spacers would be the deal. Does anyone have exprience using spacers with oringinaly sized and offset wheels? Can i go any wider b4 i start to scrub? The front wing should be easier to roll cos it's a single skin, but the back has 2?, wot are the best ways of going about this if i need to for the phat look! or is there a spacer sized that will avoid rolling the arches ?! Thanx folks
DundeeDub 0
it just so happens i have some for sale http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?75006I found that the fronts were fine but the rears scrubbed over bumps slightly. If they had been rolled i think they would have been ok, it all depends just how low you want to go though. Mine are 20mm and one thing you'll need to remember is that the steering is heavier, but it does feel alot more secure on the road
Tomo 0
I'd like to go pretty low I'd rather not roll the arches if i can avoid it. Is there any room for spacers at all when i drop it. I'll soon know when i fit the coil overs but would be easier if i brought them at the same time!
