Like rich said... if the light is on then you still have a problem.......chance's are another sensor is playing up....your best bet is to get the vr on vag com ......that will pin point exactly what is going on, be it a speed sensor or a problem with the pump...from passed experience 99% of the time if the sensor is faulty no amount of cleaning will sort it out....as I remember the front sensors are cheaper than the rear. I paid about £80 quid for a rear but that was a couple of years ago....g&sf and euro car parts stock them now.....and should be a bit cheaper than main dealer
