Inlet Manifold

I've seen a ported inlet mani, but it's states it's obd1 and mine is obd2.

Would I be able to fit a obd1 mani to my obd2 car?

What's the difference from an obd1 mani and an obd2 one?

Do a search on the mechanical forum as there are loads of threads about the obd1 and obd2! i think the obd2 has a larger intake or something, and uses a coil pack/different engine management

i know the differences in involved with the tb and other stuff but what i want to know is if the actual intake manifold (big metal thing with the plastic covers) is different.

Yep the bolt holes are different and also the size of hole going into the manifold from the throttle body is a different shape. Also an OBD1 manifold requires n extra hose to be connected.

odb2 inlet manifold is built to accept the larger bore throttlebody, the odb1 has a smaller bore tb, so it would fit your car, but not your throttle body...
