Guest 24V renshaw
Just been having a look around this forum and it seems like a good un, so figured I would post up a few piccies of my car. Some of you may know my car, others may not. I guess it counts as a VR6 now....My name is Jay Renshaw and this is my 24v V6 Corrado. The car originally started life as a standard 1991 G60 which I bought 4 years ago. It has been through various looks, but this is how it is now.I am very very proud to say I did all the work on the car myself, excluding the trimming of the doorcards and the painting (although I did all the prep). I fitted the engine, the dash and everything else myself and it has never been to any tuners, bodyshops or anything in the 4 years that I have owned it.The car has a complete 24v V6 engine from a 2002 MK4 Golf v6 4motion aswell as the complete wiring loom (through to the rear lights) and Audi TT dash including climate control, cruise control etc.. complete MK4 ABS system including all the sensors and 312mm front brakes.I have fitted a rebuilt 02A box with a Quaife TB diff and it has brand new bushes, bearings, steering rack etc..etc.. all round. The suspension is FK konisport coilovers and poly bushes throughout. The wheels are Corvette C4 8.5x17's with custom adaptors.Oh and the car is a daily driver, I drive it 40 miles every day to work and I don't have another car, just this one, so it gets used for everything. Hope you like it. There is a full history of the car here....http://www.the-corrado.net/for...art=0If you sign in you can view all the piccies etc..Hope you like it.CheersJayhttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/Completecar.jpghttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/Driversside.jpghttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/Front.jpghttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/enginebay.jpghttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/interiordriversside.jpghttp://www.photodump.com/direct/g60renshaw/rearquarter.jpg

I am dead chuffed with the car.I am going to try and make more shows but to be honest that is not why I built the car, I built it to enjoy driving to work everyday and winning shows is just a nice bonus! antera309 3
What are those wheels, by the way? Are they US imports? Never seen them before and they look great - make the car look like it's doing 120mph when standing still!!
coullstar 2
Wheels are Corvette - see first post. They do look good and original over here.

The1andonlygav 0
Mate, that is class. Please tell me how the hell you gat the TT dash to fit. It looks so factory, thats how they all should look. I'm only saying that because i'm jealous! And the wheels, oh, class. And the engine bay.....
Guest 24V renshaw
Cheers everyone. The dash is a complete a hole to get it to fit and look right. I have seen some that are just all wrong, too high, tilited over etc.. You have to do a lot of work underneath to get everything to be secure and sit in the right place, plus getting everything to work as it should is a whole differerent ball game. Deako 0
One of, if not my favourite car of the show. Its come a long way, looks stunning. When Andrew at Wheel Refurbishing told me he was doing something "A Little different" with a set of wheels for you, i couldnt even 2nd guess that they would be Corvette Rims. Superb and perfect finish.
