I don't know specifics for that car to look for but I'd check the service history to make sure cam belt has been recently changed (I think they are 40k intervals)Id ask on here as well... www.uk-mkivs.net Link to post Share on other sites
kilokilla 0 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Share Posted January 8, 2006 personally i wouldnt touch unless cheap as chips 20v turbo nowhere near as strong as vr and you hear of lots more problems with engines blowing but thats just my opinion im sure there will be many others who disagree.
