Pittuf 0
My MFI doesn't show the ambient temp, it flicks straight from the oil temp to the clock.Checking out the owners manual and it says that if you have climatronic control the ambient temp will be displayed in this rather than the MFI.I can't see any climatronic stuff in the car, i'm guessing it would replace the normal blower/heater controls. Is my MFI fooked, or am I so blind i can't see the climatronic controls? Guest Olly_K
no, your MFA is not fooked. I've got this problem on mine. Ever since i ripped slitter number 3 off, it took the ambient sensor wires with it. Now the wires just hang down, and i have the same problem as you. Im not exactly sure where its located, but the wires are hanging down underneath the airbox

Pittuf 0
nice one wilko........havent been arsed to jack the car up and have a look where the wires lead to !When I initially looked at the car there was a connector hanging down at the front, could be the one, will have to get my back dirty and roll around on the floor at the weekend to have a look. alivr6 0
lads you dont need to jack the car up as you got access to it from the top. its a wire that leads to a connector that is plugged to this sensor.....its a funny looking thing so you cant miss it.(the sensor that is) you'll probably just find it hanging loose either behind the driver side fog or just under it. alivr6 0
it all varies on how low your car is, to many missions to get a jack under the car unless i have to. :| for something as small as that i'd rather take the filter off. only a suggestion. 8o)
