jaysVR6 2
It was on a Jeremy Clarkson programme. I remember he got a few drivers together and they thrashed a load of cars around a track and needless to say it came last from what I can remember. It was up against cars twice the price and performance though!! Eat this 2
that was the best handling car thing he did richard burns was in it they said the vr6 was a grandads car lol from what iv heard about stock suspension i cant disagree the 106 gti came 2nd or 3rd behind the ferrari
ukdub 0
It was on his first video and he said the handling was soggyer than a blamonge soaked in soggy fluid

Nerih 0
he's often wrong about cars anyways, he siad the TT would be a flop and he said the cayenne was shit too...both cars have been a sucess.tbh, the vr6 hasn't been a sucess, its been a seller, no way did it sell as much as the mk1 gti or (less) the mk2 gti's...i bought my car off of a granddad who had bought it new. TVR6 0
I remember hearing that it was on Top Gear at it's launch but not what was said. It was however covered on Top Gear once again alongside the Corrado approx 2 years back when Richard Hammond covered a 'Future Classics' topic. Needless to say the Corrado got the vote whoch promptly saw 2nd hand values double. But the Golf did get the practicality vote
fritzenberg 3
while we`re on the subject of old skool top gear, does anyone remember good old william`nice anoraks` woolard? since he`s an old grandad do u think he`s got a vr6 stashed away in his garage?? !lol
The1andonlygav 0
yep, they praised the corrado vr6. I think the actual quote from clarkson was "don't buy a house, buy a corrado!"I'd already had mine a year. nice one, raised the price!
