mightyvr6 0
Can you give a bit more detail. Does it misfire when hot or cold and at what revs? What software are you running
aad 0
it seems to miss fire anytime really, hot or cold. Its not all the time, just now & again. The way I found to solve it .is to switch the ignition off and on and that seems to solve the missfire. as for the software i'm not sure to be honest.any help on this would be great. Ultimatetune 0
what fuel are you running? 95? optimax?
Nerih 0
what rev range does it missfire at, or does it do it randomly, random'ness can be fuel, or a bad connection, cleaning the ECU connector pins with contact cleaner might help, or it could be the sign of a car that is loaded with so much NOS it could blow itself up....not enough info to go on really, get it on VAGCOM. FishWick 21
Checked your plugs? I recommend NGK iridium BKR6EIX on charged VRs. The standard NGK BKRE5UP platinums are OK but they don't last long. Alternatively Golf 16V Bosch triple electrodes are good (also 6 heat rating), as are Audi S3 plugs. simey 0
Check your plugs and your HT leads, if your running Magnecor leads you'll need to remove the metal casing on the plug. If you've got a schrick manifold its easy otherwise its a bit tricky.
