Seademon 0
I have an OBD2 engine & want to fit the 2.9 Inlet manifold & TB - is that possible or wont they fit as the 2.9 is OBD1 (I think) what kind of benefits would I get? What year/spec of Golf would I find the 2.9 manifold on?Cheers! mightyvr6 0
It won't fit as the 2.9 has a cable operated throttle whilst obd2s have an motorised (electronic) throttle body. You won't be able to fit the manifold either as it won't bolt up to the obd2 throttlebody.

binliner 0
unless you get a manifold from a syncro which is 2.9 and uses the same OBD2 2.8 TB
