Nerih 0 Posted October 14, 2005 Report Share Posted October 14, 2005 i used to find my gear lever felt 'loaded' when i changed gear at high rpm's, it was becuase of my engine mounts, now with the supercharger i find its important to chang the engine mounts. I think you can buy quick shift and weighted kits for the gear levers but am unsure if that would help. Link to post Share on other sites
antera309 3 Posted October 14, 2005 Report Share Posted October 14, 2005 The VW cable change mechanism does wear noticeably over time, making the gearchange more and more "sloppy".Just replacing the shift box & cables with new ones should give a marked improvement.
