matth76 1
Where can you actually get VAG COM... can you download it to a laptop from a CD or the internet...and how much is it? I assume it is software that can measure your bhp / torque etc?
jezmoz 0
it's free from rosstech, it's a diagnostic tool to diagnose faults, dunno about testing bhp ???
matth76 1
Oh right. I was wondering what it was because Stealth had the VAG COM logo on their computer screen when they did my rolling road test.

Justicevr6 0
There are quite a few things you can do with a registered version that you can't do with a non reg one.A while ago a member asked what system was required to opperate vag com I just found this answer.1.4 What are the computer requirements?A PC running Windows: We recommend at least a Pentium-100 (or AMD equivalent) with 16MB of RAM and Windows 95 or newer. VAG-COM may work on some lesser PC's, but anything less than the above recommendation is unsupported. Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, and XP are all fine. Available disk-space should be al non-issue, VAG-COM requires less than 10 MB. If you are using a power supply for a laptop, it should be one specifically designed for that purpose, NOT a "universal" adapter. To use one of our Serial Interfaces, the PC must have an available RS-232 Serial port! Otherwise, you'll need to choose one of our USB Interfaces.
