Buzzark 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Report Share Posted October 26, 2005 That indicates a problem if you don't have aircon. !lol Air conditioning dries the air through it's compression/condensation cycle. So air comes out nice and dry and it literally sucks the water molecules off the windscreen into the passing airflow.This is why you should drink plenty of non alcoholic fluids on long-haul flights, the cabin aircon makes you de-hydrated otherwise.It's the other good reason for having aircon imo. francisjonno 2 Posted October 27, 2005 Report Share Posted October 27, 2005 As others have said its probably just the weather..But VW's tend to steam up if the plastic inner door liners (behind door cards) are torn. So might be worth checking them first (assuming your footwell's are dry) as the door cards come off easily and the liners can be repaired with duck tape, or repalaced if you prefer Link to post Share on other sites
