ThermalP4 1
Just seen a Highline for sale online and its going really cheap. I've HPId the car and all checks out. The owner says that there is a knocking noise coming from the engine and prevents you from driving over say 4krpm as the noise gets louder. He says that a mechanic has looked at it and has said that its a camshaft issue. He's had it over a year and that checks out too. He has no service book from the previous owner. Is this a case of Leave it where it is, or could it be a bargain if fixed?
shail 0
Knocking from the engine could be big end bearings or a whole host of other things. I would seriously walk away.
