Does anyone here have a 30mm drop on their golf vr6? Any pics of a golf with this drop?

i ve got just 30mm springs with the standard bbs wheels doesnt ride like it would with uprated shocks and springs but it is noticably stiffer. i done it for the ride height looks so much better! it now looks how the vr should of when it came out of the factory. not with a ride height of a 4x4!

i ll try and get a pic for you. yeah the handling is certainly better. feels more stable, better on roundabouts etc, it just doesnt "wallow" like i found it used to. if your really keen then i recommend shocks and springs. but im more than happy with just springs. done 120 5up and no scrubbing at all.

if you want it slammed you need much larger than 30mm. I have seen a 60mm drop and i dont think its enough. but i am inclined to the oem+ way of styling. so it depends what you want. i think a good 80mm is needed. but arch work is needed if you do that and want 17's on the car. also, never take it for granted that if it says on the "tin" 30mm that it will drop by that. it will more than likely only drop it 25-27 mm.

i also have 30mm springs on standard shocks with

17" wheels - i`m going for the oem+ look.u will notice a differance looks/handling wise over std.

didn`t want mine slammed to the deck due to the speedbumps from hell in my town!!lol.

i can email u pics too if u like??

If you could email me some pics that would be great thanks. Thanks for all your replies guys. I feel I'm opting more towards the FK Konigsport coilovers rather than the separate H&R springs and Koni shocks. The Konigsports have adjustable dampers and are only

eer no mate you wont find it that easy i dont think . the heights set by you turning a collar on the shock body to set the height so you will need to remove all the wheels to do it.

never done it but i dont think its that easy but there is a lot of guys on here that can tell you from experience
