matth76 1 Posted November 13, 2005 Report Share Posted November 13, 2005 HiI've just read an article about a tuning company in Performance VW magazine called "The Phirm" who they highly rate. The article is on page92 where they fit FK coilovers to a nice Corrado. I'm not sure if they are a full engine tuning company or whether they are just specialists in wheels / suspension etc. They are based in Surrey which is not too far from me as I live in the south and was wondering if anyone here has used them? The magazine says they really recommend them... I may look them up when I get my suspension fitted ... wanted to first find out from anyone on here how good they are quality and price wise.Thanks for any help.CheersMatt Link to post Share on other sites

I'm very fussy about who works on my car, and if I wasn't happy I wouldn't keep going back, I honestly can't rate them highly enough. In the last year they have rolled my arches, set up my coilovers, fitted my new engine mounts, fitted my ARB's, fitted my samco's, helped me out with my schrick, done 2 services, designed, supplied and fitted a custom oil cooler, fitted a quaife 6 speed box, made a quick shift for me, the list goes on. There also really good if you just want advice, many a time I have rung up with a silly question and not had the piss taken out of me too much!!! Tim even lent me a spare alloy for a week when I had a blow out, and back in the summer I had a strange knocking noise, rang up lunch time on Saturday, was there by about 2, was home, with the problem sorted by 4....you really can't argue with service like that.There really good on price, I've never once come away feeling i've paid over the odds, infact I always come out thinking I've got a great deal.My brother also uses them now for his GTI.Get down there!!! Big P 1 Posted November 14, 2005 Report Share Posted November 14, 2005 They are top blokes(and girl) down there, was there the other day with my throttle body problem on my car, really really helpfull and the stuff the dont know aint worth knowing, they have worked on the vr and my old mk2 G60, i dont trust hardly anyone when it comes to working on my cars but i do them!!!Highly recommended!Paul Link to post Share on other sites
