Geastb 0
I would assume you just disconnect the battery for half hour to reset the ecu?
Pittuf 0
yeah...I saw the advert but missed the prog....i'll see when its on again
kil2002 1
the repeats on at 11.55pm again (about 40mins)
Nerih 0
in a vr, i think the only thing that would detect the optimax is maybe the o2 sensor...since optimax is more combustible, less fuel should be required for a cylinder burn, so the injectors are told to cycle less...i dont bother with optimax, i think tesco 98 ron is fine lol. Pittuf 0
tesco's is 99 ron isn't it?
Nerih 0
it says 99 on the pump, but im sure its just as good as optimax
Pittuf 0
99 is better....I want the 100 stuff they have in europe

TVR6 0
If Tesco has 99ron then that's higher than Optimax which I am certain is 98ron.There are a couple of products about which raise the ron rating by a few points, basically octane boosters. I've used them on past cars and it seems to work but means you have to add it with every tank full which isn't cheap (
Pittuf 0
I've used that octane booster once...it did seem to make a small difference.
