FishWick 21 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Share Posted November 21, 2005 TBH I wouldn't bother on a standard OBD2, most Highlines make around 185-190 in standard form as it is. A chip won't yield a hell of a lot.The unichip is a piggy back and intercepts the MAF signal. The disadvantges of piggy backs are they are slower to react than the onboard chip and you can only take away fuel and advance, you can't add them like you can with a remap of the onboard chip, but you can specify the Dastek to be lambda-less and play around with the fuel tables to good effect.Yes the OBD2 44 pin chip needs desoldering and a holder soldering on.
