Ulitmate Dubs Show 4 show cars needed

Hi All,

The ultimate dubs show is taking place on March 5th 2006 at The Telford International Indoor Centre, Shropshire (West Of Birmingham) http://www.ultimate-dubs.co.uk/index.htm

I'd like to book an indoor display for us but there is a down side - There are only 4 places available for this.

Ideally I'd like to get the following cars on display

mkII VR6

MkIII VR6

Corrado VR6

Synchro VR6

For those who get to put there car on the display admission will be free to the driver and passanger.

So can I have some volenteers please.

The comittee will make the final decision on the cars choosen for the display.

Sorry its so limited I am going to try and get some more places for the stand so we might be able to squeeze maybe six cars on.

Anyone who wishes to display there cars must supply 2 photographs of your car as we have to supply these photographs to the organsisers! :@ Please send your pics to events@vr6oc.com

There are also some rules for the day as well please note the highlighted sections!

• We wish to remind you that the insurance of all vehicles is the responsibility of the owner and not the organiser or the venue.

• Exhibition Halls will be open from 8.00am until 10.00pm on Saturday 4th March for all clubs to set-up their stands ready for the Main Show Day on Sunday 5th March.

• All Clubs must remain in the Exhibition Halls until 5.00pm on Sunday 5th March, but must be out of the halls by 10.00pm.

• All Clubs are responsible for providing their own tables & chairs (Unless hiring from the organisers)

• The organisers accept no responsibility for any damage or loss to property.

• Under no circumstances are generators to be used.

• No naked flames or heaters allowed in the halls

• No distribution / sale of food & drink is allowed.

• No animals allowed on site.

• All Display Vehicles are to have no more than 5 litres of fuel within the tank (Fire Regulations)

• No pressurised containers, gas bottles etc allowed on site.

• Clubs must be responsible for their members actions. Irresponsible behaviour will result in the club being asked to leave.

• Take notice of event stewards at all times.

Hmm, the engine bay is nearly done, if i can get hold of some adjustables to deck it and get the paint sorted, i'm there.

i know i'm being rubbish and you need a yes or no, but bear me in mind!

Well I'd put my car down for a place but everytime I do that I jinx myself and it never gets done so I'm keeping stum on this one and if i turn up in my VR6 to it I turn up

i know exactly what you mean claire, i only managed 1 show last year as my car kept deciding it didn't want to go. now its happening again hopefully i'll get mine back in the next week!

Obviously we may not be able to get every one cars on the display who wants to go but i will try my best.

Remember though most shows arent as restricited as this one so please dont be put off if you dont get on the display there are plenty more shows were doing this year will far less restrictions

iv got a mk2 rallye with a 2.9 vr cud possibly have it done by then will send sum photos

At the mo we can only have 4 cars but there might be a possibily nearer the time to have maybe 6.

I'll be checking your car out this weekend but by the sounds of things it'll be ideal for one of our display cars

don'y worry about it, i ain't gonna be able to make that one. Been looking at the budget and i'm never gonna get it show ready by then. Maybe the end of the summer though!
