binliner 0
It depends on what width the wheels are but with standard suspension it shouldnt rub because it'll be so high.. but wont look that good either imo
coullstar 2
If your interested Ive got 8mm Eibach spacers and bolts that I was looking to sell shortly. The fit perfectly on the hub. Mattwelcer fitted similar sized spacers to the ones you mentioned with his Anni rims but had to get rid off when he lowered the car IIRC.
Matt W 4
This is what mine looked like with BBS wheels, that are 16x7 ET 43 with 215/40 R16 tyres.I had 30mm on the rear and 20mm at the front both sets are H&R spacers, great quality!it now sits a bit lower on coilovers and this is what it looked like but i did get occasional rubbing. There were no problems there. I only had rubbing once i dropped the ride height when i fitted my coilovers. The arches are gonna be rolled next year when i have some body work done and some nex parts fitted! !lol

Brianvr 0
hi 20 jahre gti can you tell me if the handerling was affected when you fitted your spacers, did it torqe steer or anything abnormal
Matt W 4
I didn't find that it torqued steered but it made the suspension stiffer as you were placing the wheels further out. That was it but as its now winter here in Germany they are off the car so not having driven with them for a while my memory is vague about Matt
