i'm considering selling up

i've no had my vr long but unfortunatly i'm selling up (after a m3)

and was wondering how much you guys think shes worth roughtly?

94' 5 door white vr,

standard spec

all electric gubins

alarm and remote central locking

full service vw history upto about 10k ago

currently on 160k but drives like a dream

any ideas would be gratefully excepted

i looked into buying an m3 evo. what shape are you getting e36 or e46? i was looking at a '97 reg and that was awesome but they are soooo tail happy must be real difficult to drive in wet conditions and in ice - forget it. m3 parts are also insanely expensive very expensive car to run!!

so i ve gone back to the R32 idea.

i'm after a e36 m3 i'd get an evo if one comes along for the right price,,

parts arn't that bad if you go the the right places, plus i've got a couple of mates that work at my local main dealer,

I had a '98 EVO M3 and I must say I was really disapointed. Luckily I hadn't sold the VR on, and in the end decided to keep the VR and re sold the M3.

beware of m3 with VANOS unit (which is run by oil pressure) likes to fail.

the older m3's are looking a bit dated these days IMO but nice cars all the same.

stick a bag of sand in the boot, this usually does the trick (according to the old man who had a tail happy jag, but he did end up wrapping it round a lampost)
