Snedboy 0 Posted December 18, 2005 Author Report Share Posted December 18, 2005 No i dont think so!!!The engine would never withstand that sort of boost even though its 1bar of boost it wouldnt stand that for long before melting a piston or four!!Alot of work needed to do that kind of turbo transplant coz its a big mother of a turbo under that bonnet.Low comp pistons would be ideal along with ported and polished head,regroung crank atleast,if not lightened and balanced,uprated rods,uprated bolts allround,metal headgasket,uprated injectors and thats just to name a few.Low pressure turbo's yeah stock internals are fine but as soon as u go above 7/8 p.s.i ure looking at alot of changes including intercoolers etc.And all that before gearbox,clutch,l.s.d the works.
