binliner 0
My car keeps pulling to the left and steering in general doent feel spot on... I've had the geometry checked and tracking/camber/castor/thrust angle are all perfect and nothing seems to be bent any ideas what else could cause it?
bazz780 0
i have this problem too, just had tracking/cambering done and all new shocks all round before this. car still pulls to the left and air pressure is correct as well. the tracking guy said that its because of uneven wear on the tyres and that i have to give it a few hundred miles before they will wear evenly.have you checked air pressures? purple highline monster 0
sometimes its the actual way the tyres made! apparantly all those red blue dots etc on the sidewalls mean lots of things to tyre fitters? i was told it is possible to put a tyre on "inside out" which can cause symptom you have, if both the tyres are fitted as opposites the effect is prevented, when i worked at volvo all the t5`s were coming in on warranty for the same problem and badly scrubbed tyres and apparantly this was the issue, move one of your wheels front to back see if it makes any difference mate? if notit could be one of the anti roll bar/link/radius arm bushes getting a bit weak? bazz780 0
iv got new anti roll bar links, ball joints, shocks and still this happens. might take it back for a re-test on tracking
MrBen 0
Does it always pull to the left, or just when the road is cambered that way?
binliner 0
it does it enough to keep jumping off of stealths rollers
stockers 1
you havn't hit a pothole or similar? i was told its real easy to bend the arms and that can be the cause of pulling/drifting
petervr6 0
is the steering wheels stright?
binliner 0
The guy doing the geometry assured me that if something was bent he'd pick it up when he did his checks
jon@vagworx 0
Mine pulls to the left mate, 2 reasons- rear camber and wheel set back I take it your rear camber is adjustable as its 4wd.Wheel set back could be the same as mine but neither would make it jump out of the rollers ?! Can't actually believe that anything other than tracking would create a prob on the rollers ?! ?! Happy New Year btw !lol
binliner 0
Rear camber isnt adjustable on mine either... I might have to take it to Engine Advantages instead of Stealth for mapping as it doesnt jump off of theirs and they're 4wd Yeah Happy New Year... where'd you all end up Friday? purple highline monster 0
your shell must be twisted from then rear end its had

binliner 0
bushes and top mounts is the next thing Im going to checkStealth were going to fit that GIAC chip and see if the water injection would allow them to advance the timing a bit... EA could do that but with Vince's extra VR knowledge Id prefer him to do it
